Start your morning with purpose at our upcoming Breakfast Before Business, hosted by the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce. This event is your opportunity to learn more about the Belvidere Area Leadership Academy, a dynamic 8-month program designed to cultivate emerging leaders, welcome newcomers, and deepen connections within our community. 

During this informative breakfast, attendees will get an overview of the Leadership Academy, featuring monthly sessions that highlight key sectors in Boone County from government and education to nonprofit work and manufacturing. 

We’re honored to feature Butch Roescke of Mr. Goodwater, a passionate advocate for leadership development, who will share why he believes in the power of this academy and how investing in leadership helps shape a stronger future for our region. 

We will also hear from Leadership Academy participants who were paired with local nonprofit organizations and challenged to create projects that raised both funds and awareness. At this event, they’ll give short presentations highlighting their projects, what they learned, and how the academy impacted their personal and professional growth.

Whether you're considering participating or want to nominate someone from your organization, this event offers a firsthand look at how the program builds leaders and strengthens our community.
