Women's Self Defense Class

Description

Women's Self Defense Class hosted by the Boone County Sheriff's Department and the Belvidere Chamber!

Whether you're heading off to college, starting a new job, or simply want to feel more confident in everyday situations, this class is designed to provide practical skills that can help keep you safe. 

Open to females ages 14 and up. While this class is especially beneficial for those preparing for college, women of all ages are encouraged to attend. 

Participation is highly encouraged. This is a hands-on class where you'll practice simple, effective self-defense techniques and learn strategies to recognize, avoid, and respond to potentially dangerous situations. We suggest wearing active clothing.
