2026 Chamber Chili Cookoff

This event is not open to the public. 

Join us for a sizzling evening at the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce Chili Cook-off! Warm up Belvidere on a chilly night with fierce competitors bringing their best chili to the table. The Best Chili and Best Booth winners will claim bragging rights and swag. We value your opinion, so we're also presenting a special prize for "People’s Choice" based on attendee feedback.

• Competitors may start setting up at 2pm. 
• Bring a large crockpot of chili (you will need an extension cord & power strip)
• Toppings are always great- sour cream, cheese, etc. get creative! 
• Get creative with your booth decor and dress up, you might win best booth! 
• We supply sample bowls, spoons, napkins, 8ft banquet table
• Bonus points for side item or dessert
• Booths will NOT be serving alcohol this year. NO outside alcohol will be allowed.
• Cash bar will be available 5-7pm
