Boone County Connect is a consolidated effort to ensure the availability of reliable, high-speed, and affordable broadband to all residents and entities in Boone County by working with the Illinois Soybean Association, Winnebago-Boone Farm Bureau, and the University of Illinois. Boone County Connect in partnership with R1 Planning Committee has applied for a grant from the state of Illinois to improve regional broadband access and are interested in sharing an update with Chamber members and members of the Belvidere Rotary Club.
