Community Event: Main Street Players presents "The Boys Next Door" Performance

The Main Street Players Of Boone County is proud to present their museum series: "MSP At The Museum! For this portion Main Street Players is presenting a performance of: “The Boys Next Door” by Tom Griffin. 

Directed by: John Vannest 

Performance dates: Fri. June 20th and Sat. June 21st, 2025 at 7:00pm & Sun. June 22nd, 2025 at 2:00pm 

Synopsis: Set in the Boston area, it deals with four men with various mental disabilities who live in a group home, under the supervision of an earnest, but increasingly “burned out” young social worker named Jack. It takes place over roughly a two-month period and consists of brief vignettes about the men's lives, which also provides a humorous commentary on the men's lives, taking a surprising turn as Barry's father comes to visit and as Jack accepts a new job.
