Dr. Katie Thomas is first and foremost a wife and mother to two daughters. She is an organizational psychologist and executive coach, with 16 years corporate leadership experience and is now the CEO and founder of Better Work Experience Inc, the premier career focused resource center, based in Boone County. Dr. Thomas is a Northern California native, who married into aviation which brought her to land at the Poplar Grove Airport four years ago. Dr. Thomas is a Visiting Professor of Leadership and Management at the Puri School of Business at Rockford University, teaching graduate-level subjects such as Leadership, Business Research, Team Dynamics and Conflict Resolution. In her free time, she enjoys scratch cooking, hiking, snowboarding and meditation.
