The entire world commemorates Universal Children’s Day on a traditionally celebrated day. On December 14, 1954, the United Nations General Assembly recommended all countries to institute a Children’s Day. The Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959, and the Convention on Rights of the Child in 1989. Día de los Niños is a huge deal in Mexico every April. LULAC of Belvidere will be providing a huge party for children to have fun and feel special because it is their day.

LULAC Belvidere will have music, refreshment, crafts, educational information, give-awaya and more.

We hope to see a lot of children from our area that will enjoy the company of other children on their special day. Parents are invited to attend this event with their children for a small price.
