River City Sound Chorus presents “Fall Into Singing” 

River City Sound Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International welcomes female singers for a special 5 week series starting September 3, 2024 at 6:45 at the Community Building Complex of Boone County, 111 W 1st St, Belvidere, IL. The evenings will feature voice placement, vocal lessons and learning a new barbershop song with the chorus.The award winning chorus has a wide selection of traditional barbershop, pop a-capella, and standard love songs. The series ends with an invitation to sing on their show, Oct. 6, 2024, "Sweet 16".

In 2024 River City Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines International celebrated 44 years of harmony in the Rock Valley Area. The chorus has had over 200 different members over the years, 5 directors, 3 A Championships, 9 AA Championships and 6 Regional Championships. 

They have recently represented Region #3 at the International Contest September 15, 2022 in Phoenix, AZ and placed 14th in the world. You can find their journey on the Facebook Page, River City Sound Chorus Sweet Adelines. 

You may have seen “RCS” at an Ice Hog game, the Annual Brat Days in Rockford, or on the streets of Belvidere at the Christmas Walk.
